Lindfields - a quick introduction.

 Conveniently situated just to the West of Mile Marker 4 off Highway 192 (the main artery running  East-West through Kissimmee to St. Cloud) and with Disney's "front door" - Disney World Drive at Mile Marker 7,  Lindfields is a quiet backwater combining a tranquil location, a unique blend of vacation and residential single family homes and a conservation area that prevents over-development and attracts wildlife including raccoons, deer, cranes, eagles and armadillos. 

   Construction began in the early 1990's when there was little if any development in the area, consequently land was not at the premium it is nowadays. Seeking to create an exclusive environment, the developers could afford to build wide avenues, allow large open areas and build generously sized, architect designed homes to a very high standard. They succeeded in creating a unique blend of spacious and luxurious individually styled villas in the Grand Floridian style, most with their own private pools. A slight British influence added street names like Kensington, Primrose, Viscount, and Wellington mixed with some 'Americanisms' like Knottingham and Piccadilly Circle. With the advantages of generous plots, wide avenues and traditional street lighting Lindfields has a unique atmosphere that could be British - apart from the palm trees and, of course, the climate.
